Rain, Rain & more....Rain

What is the weather like where you live this time of year? Arizona is generally sunny with four days of rain in January and the same goes for February. But not this year. Arizona has seriously been experiencing very abnormal weather in 2010. And by abnormal, I am referring to a lot of rain, clouds and not the usual continuous days of nothing but sun. Now don't get me wrong, we have still had many sunny days with the temperatures in the 60's, however the amount of rainy days so far is odd for us. I truly think this is what is must be like to live in the Pacific Northwest. In January alone, Arizona had more rainfall than we usually get in the first six months of the year. Of course, all this rain is making the landscape show colors other than the various tans we're used to, I'm seeing green everywhere. I love the brighter landscape and the change. Rain is something the desert always needs more of. Although, I miss the sun and would very much like to lay out and get some vitamin D, I'll take the change in weather and keep applying my fake bronzer to my face so I don't get mistaken for Casper....for now. That's the latest in Arizona....lazy rainy days until the sun shows its face again.
