Four months

Carter turned four months old May 12, 2011!  We cannot believe how fast time is flying by with our little baby boy.  We were in Arizona over his four month birthday.  Since we had a jammed packed trip, we didn't get a chance to take the picture while in AZ.  We took it a week late but better late than never.  Carter also had his four month pediatrician visit exactly one week later too.  That means more vaccinations; four shots and one oral vaccination.

For the shots, they gave him two in each thigh.  Carter let out such a powerful wail (like we had never before heard from him) and his face turned as bright red as a tomato while he got his shots.  I will admit, I shed a couple tears myself and couldn't pick him up soon enough to comfort my little guy once they were done and the band-aids were on.  He was a champ and calmed down quickly.  Horrible that something he needs to help protect him can cause him so much pain initially.

  Weight - 14 lbs 14 oz
     45th Percentile for weight
  Height -  25 1/2"
     67th Percentile for height
