Smorgasbord

With my slacking on this blog, there is a lot I need to catch you all up on.

Starting with April, when one of my very best friends, Natalie, got married. Natalie and I go back 22 years. Natalie & her husband, Brian, met back in Law School. They are both so smart and also sooooooo much fun. They had a lovely wedding in San Diego, CA and I was honored to be a bridesmaid in their wedding!

Natalie & Brian – April 16, 2010

Me & the Bride...have been friends since we were 5

The beautiful bride & her girls

Again, Congratulations Nat & Bridy and all the best to you and your life together as husband & wife. We love you guys!

Results are in….we’re pregnant

One of the many tests I took to make sure...sooooo happy with the results window!

Ever since moving to Denver, Jeff and I have been really good about exploring anything & everything in this beautiful state we now call home. We try new restaurants weekly, and take day trips to places like Breckenridge, Boulder, etc. We’re having a blast learning all about our new home state.

Our first trip to Boulder

How we announced we were pregnant to our parents

Frame reads: "Reserved for Baby Saar, expected to arrive January 17, 2011. xoxo Jeff & Meghan"

Of course with my parents living in Dubai, UAE, they got to see their frame over Skype before we placed it in the mail. We are thankful we decided to do it that way rather than wait for it to arrive for them to find out because it took 6 weeks for it to arrive once it was sent. The UAE government held on to it for 4 weeks before delivering to my parents. Blahh.

I changed my hair color….started off very dark

It is no longer this dark but you'll see what it now looks like in my next post. The current color is more honey/caramel blonde yet not close to bleach blonde like was before. I like the current color but sure I will be back to super blonde again one of these days. That’s the great thing about hair color, you can change it and have fun, experiment and if do not like the outcome, always go back.

There is so much more I could write and update you all on but that is it for now. I’m tired and need my sleep.

Be back again soon.
xoxo
