Baby Boy Saar Update

Today, I am 28 weeks & 4 days pregnant. It sure is flying by fast! This afternoon, we had an ultrasound and got to see our little guy again!

Things we learned today at the ultrasound appointment:
He is currently 2 lbs, 14 oz (2 ounces shy of 3 lbs)
His head, arms & legs are all measuring exactly one week ahead of schedule; their size being 29 weeks & 4 days per the measurements
Head has grown and was measured at 30 weeks & 1 day in size
We could see his heart, kidneys, brain and so on and all looked great
They could already tell he had some hair on his head


His positioning is as follows:
head is down to the lower right of my abdomen
hands/arms still bent and in front of his face for the most part (exactly how they were last ultrasound...being shy & covering his cute little face)
butt is up towards my left ribcage & lung
legs bent and feet to the right rib cage & lung

Now after today's fun & getting to see our little man, here is the latest picture of Baby Boy Saar's face (the ultrasound tech cropped out his arm...it was like watching someone do photo shop) to share. Hopefully next time he'll cooperate better and move his hands & arms down for his picture.



I know I am biased but I think he is super adorable already & looking forward to meeting him in 80 days or less.


Until then, we will get to see him again with another ultrasound the week of Thanksgiving. Looking forward to that appointment!!
