It's official, we have Colorado Driver's Licenses, well temporary ones that is (more on that in a bit)
This is where it all started....Colorado Driver's License Office
They do things differently in Colorado than what we are used to with the MVD offices in Arizona. You cannot get your Driver's License and car registered at the same place. They have offices just for getting, renewing, reinstating your Driver's License....all things Driver's Licenses.
We went to the above office and after going through their process, we now both have our temporary Colorado Driver's License. That's right, temporary, paper version. We should receive our new licenses in the mail in the next 30 days. Wish they printed them off in person like they did in Arizona. It's weird having a piece of paper in our wallets that is considered our Driver's License. I am curious how long they are valid for here. Hopefully not as long as Arizona as they last 40 or so years. Seriously, no one is going to resemble their picture taken 40 years ago, they shouldn't last that long, Arizona.
Excited for it to be even more official once the non paper versions arrive in the mail, see what they look like, how long they are valid for and carry them in our wallets. Good bye Arizona Driver's License.....hello Colorado Driver's License!!!
