Back from last week's "Blogcation". Jeff's parents came out to visit us in Colorado. They were here Thursday through Monday. We both took some time off from work so we could really enjoy their time here. It was so great to see and spend so much time with them.
Thursday night we enjoyed a nice meal out and prepared for some exploring on Friday. Here is a picture of the Mountains while we drove to Breckenridge. As you can see in the photo below, the weather was perfect on our drive up.
As the newscasters forecasted at 1pm (exactly when we came out of the restaurant from lunch) the weather completly changed as the storms came in and snow started to fall. The weather made us cut our walk and exploration around the town of Breckenridge short. :( (tear tear) However on our way to our car, we saw this beautiful fox and her two cubs who were wrestling (cutest thing ever). They were seriously 25 ft away from us. I couldn't capture a picture of the cubs and didnt' bother getting closer to get any better pictures of either since she was protecting her young but here is Mama Fox....
We went to the Rockies game on Sunday and the weather was perfect. Enjoyed some great ball game food. People watching (standard at all games). Although the game was a bit slow but had a great time and the Rockies won in the end. Woo hoo.
The rest of the weekend we went around Colorado, looked at their old house they lived in for a few years back when Jeff was growing up, had some great meals and enjoyed spending time with his parents. Thanks for visiting us and being guests in our home. Can't wait to see you guys again soon. Love you both!
Yea for pics!! :o) Glad you had fun while they were there visiting... I don't blame you for not getting a pic of the fox cubs. :o)
