Our first visitor

We had our first house guest in Colorado! Back in Arizona, we only had a house guest once and that was probably 6 weeks before we moved. Therefore it is very exciting for us to have house guests because we think it's the best! I have so much fun cleaning in preparation for a house guest, making the bed, putting out fresh towels as well as samples of soaps, lotions, etc., in their bathroom for them to use. Our first visitor to Colorado, was Ryan W. He is a great friend to both Jeff & I. Ryan was out here for business and stayed the night with us. He came over about 5pm after his busy day out and about. The three of us got a chance to hang out, enjoy a beer (boys only) and watch a bit of the NBA playoffs before heading off to dinner. Ryan is quite the foodie and wine connoisseur in my opinion so it's always a treat to go out with him. Back in AZ we would usually go on double dates with Ryan & his wife Julie or they would cook amazing meals and have us over to their home. Whenever you go out with Ryan or to his home, I like to let him decide on what wines we'll be consuming for the evening as he never disappoints with his selections. Lucky for us, Ryan will be out here quiet often from now on for business so we'll hopefully get to see him and have him as a guest at our place once or twice a month. Although this trip was a brief one, it was great to have him.

Ryan - you are always welcome at our place in Colorado and we're looking forward to all your upcoming business trips (we need to figure out one where Jules comes out too). And don't forget about ski trips in the winter too!!
