Slopes, here he comes...

Not sure if you remember this post from May (2010/2011 Season Ski Passes) but after we moved here, we were already preparing for our first winter living in Colorado and bought our 2010-2011 ski passes...in April.  Of course, a couple weeks later we found out I was pregnant.  Needless to say, I won't be hitting the slopes as often as originally anticipated and will have to wait until after our little guy arrives to go skiing this season.  Jeff however gets to hit the slopes...NOW.  And the weather has been optimal for doing just that since the mountains have been getting dumped on by fresh snow for weeks now.

In preparation for living here and getting to enjoy the mountains and skiing, we got Jeff a pair of ski's, ski bindings, poles & a helmet.  Years past, those were the things we always rented for our annual ski trips.  Jeff is now ready to go skiing at a moments notice and have some fun!

This past week Jeff went with his buddy Matt and skied Breckenridge.  He had a blast.  And loved his new ski gear.

Can't wait to get a few days of skiing in with my QT husband after our son arrives.   Hopefully I'll get to hit the slopes at least a couple times with our friends Matt & Jenny too.  After all, I need to get use out of my ski pass since I can't return it or get a refund.
