There is something particularly special about this time of year and my desire and need to bake sugar cookies. I have yet to do so but only because I've been sick all week. Don't think it is smart for me to bake cookies to give to others and have us eat too when I am sick. Not to mention don't exactly have the energy to do so right now.
Anyway, on yet another fabulous blog that is out there (mind you I don't even know this person but follow and found out from a friends blog I follow), came across a post on "Sugar Cookies + Royal Icing Tutorial". Say what? Not only the recipes, but tutorial and beautiful pictures too. I'm going to ditch my recipes and try hers this year when I'm ready to bake.

All the instructional posts... you must be nesting or something. :o) the Royal Icing is perfect for me - one of the moms at Logan's school is a pastry chef, so I got the sugar cookies from her, now we just need to decorate!! :o)
ReplyDeleteNesting I am. Wow, a pastry chef. How I would love to be a fly in her kitchen...or preferrably something more sanitary and acceptable in a kitchen and get all her recipes. :) Post pictures of the cookies when you decorate. xo
